It is so sad that people today do not believe the Holocaust happened. How could people deny millions of people dying? Maybe people feel if they don't see it with their own eyes, it never happened.

How can someone not believe something like that? When you step outside and you feel the wind blow, you can't see the wind, but you know that is there. You can see that it moves the things around you, but you can't see it. To say that something is not there or didn't happen because you didn't see it or cant see it is insane. If you had family in a concentration camp, I'm sure that you would have a different opinion.

Well they are thinking wrong because there is a lot of proof that the Holocaust did happen. Like some of the camps are still existant. And some Holocaust survivors that weren't even Jews are still alive today.

Some People say I'll believe it when i see it. Sometimes when people see pictures they just say that they think it was just photo shopped. But when people are telling stories about what they went through in the holocaust, they try not to see the pain coming from the person. Because they don't want to admit it happen, they could be scared of it happening again.

I feel bad for every single person that was killed in the Holocaust, they had to suffer so much pain for no reason. I don't understand Hitlers perspective because Jews are people. They are no different then any of us. Its like the slavery way back when Black people are still people they have as much right to live as the White people do. There is nothing different about Jews that should be caused to have such a harmful punishment.

Who could be so heartless to go as far as murdering someone for the way they look and their beliefs. It's all so hard to comprehend. 6 million Jews were killed along with 5 million non-Jewish civilians. Although so many don't believe. It's apart of history and people need to learn to accept what happened. There is still living proof, along with the labels each were given tattooed on. Pictures, books, articles, videos. So much proof, but to many are convinced otherwise. Apparently, proof, living proof at that, isn't good enough for all of the non-believers out there.

The reason so many people really deny that the Holocaust really happened is one of two reasons (in my view)
1: They lost a family member in it so they don't really want to accept that they died in such a terrible thing, so they make fantasies of how they really died.
2: They have been sheltered so much that they just don't accept something such as terrible as the Holocaust really happened. When they live in a positive world that is so perfect they don't really want to believe that.
There is definitely more reasons than mine, but this is my take on the subject. Also by following this quote and my take of it's meaning, “For the dead and the living, we must bear witness.” ~Elie Wiesel. For people to really start to understand how society works and how life really is they need to "witness" that the Holocaust really happened.
